Talamanca Beach, next to Ibiza harbour

North of Ibiza harbour lies Talamanca Bay, with a beach almost a kilometre long next to Ses Feixes.

Talamanca Beach is one of the best town beaches on the island, in a bay north of Ibiza harbour.

To get there from town, go round the harbour towards Marina Botafoch; from there you will see the signs to Talamanca Beach, less than two kilometres away.

You will find a sheltered bay, with lots of boats at anchor and a long stretch of sand almost a kilometre long. The wooden boardwalk that ran along it was wrecked by the storms of winter 2026 and some sections are closed, so expect to walk on the sand.

What you will find at Talamanca Beach

One of the big pluses of Talamanca, one of the quietest beaches in Ibiza, is that the bus comes here, which is very handy if you are not hiring a car. On the beach there are beach bars and showers, and all around there are plenty of guesthouses, cottages and restaurants, always in low-rise buildings with a seafaring feel.

Things to do in Talamanca

Along the beach there are sun loungers for hire and water sports on offer. Towards the far end, seaweed appears in the water and a swim is less tempting.

Although many people think the beach ends here, Talamanca has a couple of secrets. Sa Punta, the other Talamanca, is on the last stretch of coast: you can drive to a small car park opposite a little beach, and from there follow the coast on foot over the rocky areas.

Even though it is a town beach, Talamanca keeps that feel of a natural spot, and if you visit you will see for yourself.

Bus lines to Talamanca

Keep an eye on the bus timetable: missing the last one can be a problem. If you would rather get around on your own, we recommend a hire car.
