3D virtual tourStart the tourEs Xarcu is in the municipality of Sant Josep, about 13 km from Ibiza Town and 9 km from Sant Josep. You get there by road, by car or by bike. The easiest way is to follow the road out of Cala Jondal and take the signposted turn-off on the left. You can also take the road from Sant Jordi to Es Cubells and, about two kilometres before the end, turn left at the junction towards Es Torrent.
The last stretch is an unpaved track with a fairly steep slope.

What you’ll find at Es Xarcu
Es Xarcu is a small, enclosed cove. The beach is narrow, about 10 metres wide, and long, at around 100 metres. It shares the space with fishermen’s huts and a small stream, in a Mediterranean landscape with pine trees that almost reach the sea.

The sand is fairly fine and runs out into the sea, covering almost all of the rocky seabed, which only shows through in a few places. The slope is gentle, so you have more than 20 comfortable metres for swimming.
The wind usually blows from the sea towards the land, and is almost always light.
In short, Es Xarcu is a quiet spot for enjoying nature, with basic services and a few water activities.
