Santa Gertrudis Tourism Guide
Santa Gertrudis is the heart of the island, a quiet and peaceful corner famous for its bars and family restaurants
Santa Gertrudis De Fruita is a small village nestled in the Heart of Ibiza. It borders to the north with Sant Mateu, Sant Miquel And Sant Llorenç. Sant Antoni and Santa Eulária cover the flanks While Sant Rafael is south. The town is accessible from all these locations. If we leave the city, halfway between Ibiza and Santa Eulária, we find the detour that takes us to their scarce but well-known streets.

Food and tranquility as a claim
The Church serves as a presentation to a small neighborhood of low houses, typical of the island, mixed with modern constructions. The main activity has always been developed in the town square, now turned into a pedestrian area, and very famous among the locals for their snack bars. In This area is served the Pa Amb Tomaquet with delicatessen products and is enjoyed on the terraces or inside the bars where numerous paintings hang. During The hippie era, they approached the town to sell their paintings and artisan products, or to exchange them for food, hence the art galleries that still exist today.
