The Caves Of the Port Of Sant Miquel are known As The Caves of Can Marçà. Although they are exploited by a private company and do not appear in the places recommended by the official organisms, these caves are one of the greatest geological discoveries of the island. To get to the cave we must take the direction to the port of Sant Miquel, and when you get to the Club San Miguel, take the road to the right that goes up to the top. Returning to the cave, access is made by guided tour through a rock-hewn path. The access gives spectacular views of the cliff on which it stands. Already in the cave, more than one hundred thousand years old, we find a universe of stalactites and water. Some of these areas, already fossilized, offer an impressive spectacle of hundreds of teeth emerging from the roof. Many sections of the cave are unexplored due to the narrowness of the openings. In Some areas we can see graffiti on the walls. These graffiti were used by smugglers to find alternative routes out of the cave when there was a record. The goods are raised from the sea to an outward-made outlet. Finally, the show of the artificial waterfall, with audiovisual spectacle included, and the natural illuminated lagoons, that impress the Spectator.
