The beach of Port d'es Torrent is located at the end of a very perfect, protected Cove to enjoy a quiet day
Belonging to the municipality of San José (Sant Josep) we can find the beach of Port des Torrent about twenty kilometres from Ibiza and about seven of Sant Josep. Although it belongs to the municipality of Sant Josep, this beach is attached to the parish of Sant Antoni. from where we will be able to access by car or bicycle, or bus, using the line regularly throughout the year. The easiest access to this Cove is from the town of San Antonio, departing from the port towards the Bay. An area of shops and the SeaView hotel in which ends the road marked the end of the road. To access the beach you will have to use a small ramp that is located at the last roundabout, on the left as we arrived.

The beach of Port des Torrent
The sand is quite thick and the landscape of thickets and pines bordering the cove give a typical Mediterranean look. The seabed is sandy at the beginning, increasing in rocky areas as we enter the sea, where we will find a steep slope, with more than fifty meters available for a safe bath. The equipment of the beach allows to enjoy a complete leisure-sport offer, highlighting the underwater landscape for the surface diving. In this area I have done many dives, and it is possible to contemplate octopus, red mullet and many native species. It is a beach without a doubt quite cozy in which we can enjoy the tranquility and admire the landscape not only at dusk, but also during the day, approaching its ends.
