3D virtual tourStart the tourPort des Torrent Beach belongs to the municipality of San José (Sant Josep) and is about twenty kilometres from Ibiza and about seven from Sant Josep. Although it is part of Sant Josep, it sits right next to Sant Antoni, from where you can get there by car, by bike or by bus. The easiest way is to leave San Antonio from the harbour and follow the bay. The road ends at an area with shops and a hotel. To get down to the beach there is a small ramp at the last roundabout, on your left as you arrive.

What you will find at Port des Torrent
The beach sits in an enclosed bay about seventy metres long and about fifty wide, sheltered by two stretches of rock with flat ledges used by swimmers and by plenty of anglers alike. On days with rough seas or wind, this cove gives good shelter from the breeze and the waves.

The sand is fairly coarse, and the scrub and pine trees around the cove give it a very Mediterranean feel. The seabed is sandy at first and gets rockier as you wade out, with a gentle slope: you have more than fifty metres to swim in peace.
The beach is well equipped for spending the day, and its standout feature is the seabed for snorkelling: among the rocks you can spot octopus, red mullet and many other local species. It is a cosy, quiet beach, and it is well worth walking out to either end to enjoy the scenery, by day or at sunset.
