An aquarium in Cala Gració

Along the way we can stop at a cove located on the left, not very good access, transformed by fishermen’s Varadero, where you can find the aquarium of Cap Blanc. This aquarium is actually a cave with an exit to the sea, in which we will be able to enjoy the native species of the area in a small natural lake in the rock. Among the species include Silvias and mantas, brunettes and above all, magnificent specimens of Mero. This Aquarium was used as a breeding ground for lobsters and is currently a Center recognized for the recovery of sea turtles. From this same Aquarium there is a jetty arrive that ships from the other extreme, more tourism, of the Bay of Sant Antoni and from which we can enjoy a promenade through these waters.

Description of Cala Gració

The beach of Cala Gració belongs to the municipality of Sant Antoni and is almost within the nucleus spa. It is a sheltered cove, U-shaped, about fifty meters long and very wide, and low swell. It is a small sandy beach with shallow depth, which makes them a regular of the local population, especially mothers who are going to enjoy with their little ones. Except for the sand area, the rest of the cove is quite rocky, so it is necessary to make a rubber shoe to avoid scratches and slips on the rocks. It is not a particularly interesting area for immersion, unless we surround the cove, but it is apt to teach our little ones the pleasures of this practice. We can also practice fishing with cane from the ends of the cove.
