In the territorial division of Sant Carles de Peralta we find Torre d’en Valls. located next To Canal D’en Martí, also Known as Pou des Lleó, Access can be made by road, although the final stretch obliges you to take the walking route. To do this we must go along the road that departs from Sant Carles towards the Cala de San Vicente. In the first detour to the right of the road, we will go, in an almost straight stretch, until the intersection Between Cala Boix And Canal D’en Martí. The last one is on the road that descends to the beach on the left. We Leave the beach behind to take a dirt road that will take us to the vicinity of the tower, where we’ll appreciate the island of Tagomago. This Tower is located between the towers of defense of THE eighteenth century, ordered to build as a complement to the defense of the City Of Dalt Vila. It is the end date of the year 1763, although it was rebuilt after suffering an explosion of its gunpowder magazine. This explosion is widely documented forming part of the legends of the place. The official version of the watchtowers ensured that on a stormy night, while they were leaving after seeing the lights of a ship, lightning penetrated the gunpowder magazine and blew it up in the air. The legend tells, that in fact it was two young ladies very womanizers, whom some neighbor, annoyed by his adventures, avenged igniting the gunpowder magazine. The truth is that Torre D’en Valls, today, appears majestic, guarding the entire West Coast Of Sant Carles.
