One of the resorts most important of Ibiza, both in summer and in winter, is Sant Antoni de Portmany. If you are of those who has decided to stay or visit this town, probably will make you lack Sant Antoni map, created by public institutions.
Touring map of Sant Antoni
We will start commenting on the map of Sant Antoni for the part in which tourists arrive. Maritime Station is the nearest port to the peninsula on a path that connects Ibiza with Denia. From here part the sea promenade with Club Nautico around an area of bars and pubs. Then we arrived at Passeig de Ses Fonts, with its typical sources and which houses the old town of Sant Antoni. This tour concludes in the egg of Columbus, a gazebo with an egg-shaped sculpture and Caravel inside. It is perhaps the most iconic point of Sant Antoni and the entrance of the road linking the town with the city of Ibiza. Just on top we find the bus station. Between this and Passeig de Ses Fonts we should visit the fortified church of Sant Antoni. Mark it on your route. To the South part the Avenida del Doctor Fleming. Saying so does not seem much, but is the union with the rest of the Bay of Sant Antoni, including Port des Torrent and, although it does not appear on the map, at the height of the parking is the disco Es Paradis, one of the great clubs of the island and the main of Sant Antoni. In front of it, the beach of S’Arenal.
Within the core urban there are some points that we should highlight. We started by el Molí d’ in Simo, a Majorcan type mill, the only preserved in Ibiza. It is restored and its interior can be visited. If from here start towards the West, we find in a small lift with some views spectacular to the sunset. To the front, Ses Variades, an Esplanade facing the sea. Although the sunset time is a site more than a few metres further south of this privileged space freed. If we follow the coast we find Café del Mar. Here the people are accumulates with their cameras, their coffee and a good ration of music Chill Out to dismiss the day.
Out of the map of Sant Antoni
The North of the town is mostly composed of hostels and apartments mainly dedicated to the English tourism. The only beach available within the own core urban is the beach of Caló des Moro. If you have intentions of sticking a bath during the summer, we discourage this option. Best continue by the road from Cala Gració, just to the North. Out of the map of Sant Antoni and after touring a kilometer in which leave behind a cala of fishermen with Aquarium included, will arrive to the beach of Cala Gracio and, slightly more forward, Cala Gracioneta. Here the atmosphere is typically Spanish and is the place preferred by the resident to rest in their times free.
