One of the main problems that we find to our arrival on the island is to move through it. Many tour operators will provide guides and maps of Ibiza, with a series of points of general interest (of course, maps for that pay for them). However, these guides generally are fairly succinct in what ways and routes is concerned. Establish all the layout of roads that cross the island and over make it visible it is not easy, and less, to the size which usually occupy. As they are also keen to expand the street where its offices are located, the result tends to be somewhat frustrating.
Because we made our own map of Ibiza
When we began the journey of Soloibiza, our idea was based on locating the most important beaches in Ibiza , photographing them and create a specific guide on it. More forward saw that the rich cultural deserved to be known also. The illusion that put in the project fought against the sense common, and started to explore the island of tip to tip, and turned towards back. Kilometres of road and time wasted. So we decided to get down to work and develop a tool that would allow us to organize our displacement. Working on a map of Ibiza
All maps of Ibiza that we find on the Internet, none of them was updated enough or represented with some margin of error acceptable housing streets and interurban routes that owns the island. The most logical option passed by using own Google Maps. We decided to use the positioning system GPS to locate each location.
