Beach of Cala Mastella Ibiza

Cala Mastella Playas de Ibiza

Fancy a quiet cove, without noise, crowds and almost no people enjoy? Welcome to Cala Mastella, the island of Ibiza, in Eulália where we can take us life with some peace and quiet, and a biodramina for the trip.

As we arrive to Cala Mastella.

One of the reasons why people flee a bit of Cala Mastella is its situation. Despite being in the town of Santa Eulalia, the only way to reach this island of Ibiza is passing through the town of Sant Carlos. This means moving to the northeastern tip of the island, crossing Santa Eulalia.

Arriving at Sant Carlos, we have to take the detour that splits into three creeks that run along the coast in just two kilometers. Canal d’ at Marti, Cala Boix and Cala Mastella. Of the three, which today occupies us, lies further to the South, taking a detour that appears on the road arriving at the first crossing after leaving Sant Carlos. One more straight and will have to choose between Cala Boix, already ahead of our, and of new Cala Mastella. After two kilometres among pine trees and clouds of dust, we reach Cala Mastella.

I find on this island of Ibiza.

If you have read our previous paragraph, you will understand that proximity, for example, there are other beaches that go before that to Cala Mastella. If you have that this is a very closed Cove, which is located between mountains in back of the sunset, and bath times are reduced a couple of hours, it is understandable that the great tourism does not have its point of reference.

This is probably the reason why there are no many services in this Cove. Umbrellas, hammocks and a bare-bones bar. What it will find, is a natural, between pine forests, without noise pollution, without supervision, without motor, noise-free boats. A place to relax and be calm. A paradise to enjoy alone or in company, but not much. Not available, you will not have or signs indicating where.

The side of the cala are quite steep and only, far, is found some slipways of fishermen, typical in each cala of Ibiza. The sand is thick, and although five meters the separate of the pine forests.

They are so warm, the waves is not remarkable, by what the seabed is still almost intact. A magical place, in a magical setting. Cala Mastella.
