An Ancient Well

The Well is dated in the SECOND century BC and first after Christ. It Keeps the spades to work the oil at the entrance of the well, which is covered with a frontal opening. The depth of the well is quite striking. They say that eSte is rarely dried, so it was widely used as a watering hole for animals in times of drought. In fact, the plain around the well is perfect not only to spend a picnic, but also to gather the cattle. Like every well that boasts, Pou De Forat preserves the popular tradition with a peasant dance on the second Sunday in October.
