The beach of S'Illot Des Renclí is a place destined for quiet enjoyment

We can be found in the municipal term of Sant Joan S’ s’illot Des Renclí about thirty kilometres from Ibiza and six of the parish of Sant Joan. Access to this Beach is taking the road that leads from Ibiza to Portinatx, and about 19 km, turn to follow the signs that leads us to the Cove, on a ground without asphalt and that is often found in not-very-good State after heavy rains. We recommend you to access drive the beach, because again the inclinations of the ground and the irregularity of the dirt road make inadvisable any displacement.

The Beach area is quite small, with about thirty meters long by about ten wide, being the rest of the cove of steep configuration, except for the areas occupied by Varaderos of fishermen, with a cement floor and a guides to launch the B Arks to the sea. These constructions are very typical on the island, especially in the protected coves of the Embite del Mar. This protection against the waves has given the appearance to the sand, which does not suffer excessive erosion, so it presents the aspect of coarse sand, dotted with rocky areas. This configuration is maintained by entering its waters, being able to find a lot of vegetation caught in the rocks, and consequently enough marine fauna, so we can enjoy diving a bit. In addition, the depth level offers a rather smooth slope, encontrandonos to more than thirty meters without the water finishing to cover us. We will have to be a little careful when the wind blows, which generally makes it from Earth to the sea, although being a protected area by rocks, there usually appears strong wind. The Beach has the basic services to spend a quiet day in an idyllic and somewhat seafaring landscape, in which we can even practice some hiking.
