If You like mythology, visiting the Archaeological Museum Of Ibiza, rather than an obligation, is an outstanding account. The first Thing is to go up to the Cathedral square. You can make the ascent in a small minibus that is available to tourists, but we recommend the ascent on foot. It Is quite more tiring, but recognizing the minibus is somewhat complicated and much more figuring out your schedule. In the first section of the tour, many posters explaining the history and deposits that have been found scattered on the island. If you are not in a hurry, you can see that after this short explanation, there are some windows that allow to see a kind of well. They Are Remnants of the Muslim wall where you can see details of their construction. This Wall extends under the ground and can be seen closer in Madina Yabisa. After starting with some vessels and instruments of the Bronze Age quite curious the route takes us to the first Punic and Egyptian gods: Astarte, Melkart, Tanit, Baal-Hammon, Reshef or Bes (which gives the original name to the island). Among the somewhat more modern vessels we find elements with typical Greek and Roman ingredients. From This last period are the original statues whose copies are exposed to the entrance of the doors of Ses Taules and the exit of the Patio de Armas. The Tour Ends with an exhibition of the Muslim era where several tombstones of the time are exhibited. The Upper exit of the museum presents a view of little-known Ibiza , on the cliffs.
