Access is by road, both in car and bike or bus, using the regular line during the summer. If we choose the own vehicle, will have to go to the road of Port d’es Torrent, from St. Augustine, according to posted signs. I recommend you to use the car, because there is a pretty good straight stretch, the road has a couple of curves that get more complicated if there is dirt or sand on the road. There are not many accommodations around. We will find in Cala conta
The beaches of Cala conta
The background alternates shallow sandy areas with rocky areas where we can surprise with some Silvia of considerable proportions when practicing diving. The slope is very smooth in the sandy areas, presenting plains of more than fifty meters in which to bathe without fear of the depth. The wind is usually loose, although sometimes it can blow with enough intensity and in a variable direction. The views of a set of islets and transparent waters make it one of the beaches preferred by the inhabitants of Sant Antoni, who often frequent it quite. I’ve spent a whole summer bañandome on this beach. It has enough sand to be able to practice some shovel sport. If you plan to dive, I recommend you access the small pier located to the right of the beach of Cala Conta. The waters are very quiet and you can snorkel without problems. If you like more private coves, before entering the parking lots of the beach you will find a road that deviates to the left. Follow the road until you finish and you will find a cove that can only be accessed by a very, very steep staircase or by boat. That yes, do not forget anything by the way because there is no place to buy absolutely nothing.
